This is my first time in college, or I am a transfer student, a dual credit student who wants to continue at IM体育试玩 or has only taken continuing education courses.
All international students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration for classes. An international student attending on a non-immigrant student visa (F-l) is required by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service to maintain full-time student status. This requires a completion of a minimum of 12 units for each semester in attendance.
The Adult Education program at Victor Valley College provides free, convenient courses to assist adult learners in achieving their educational and vocational goals. We offer morning and evening classes to prepare students for taking a High School Equivalency Exam, such as the GED® and morning and evening English (ESL) classes to help students learn and master English. Adult Ed Dual Enrollment is limited to students who have been approved by their school that are prepared to undertake credit coursework at IM体育试玩.

The Education, Society and Human Services RAMPath is designed for students interested in becoming an Early Childhood Educator, Associate Teacher, Preschool Teacher or Site Supervisor. In this RAMPath, you will find the support that you need to successfully complete a program of study in communication, psychology, liberal arts or sociology.
In the STEM RAMPath, you will find the support you need to successfully complete a program of study that prepares you for certificates, degrees, transfer, and careers in multiple areas within the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
The STEM RAMPath is the perfect place for students interested in sciences, engineering, mathematics or computers. Having a positive future is possible when you start your educational journey in the STEM RAMPath.
The Health Sciences RAMPath will offer students the opportunity to learn from professors who are passionate about service and helping others. The degrees and certificates found in the Health Science RAMPath provide students with techniques, strategies, knowledge and skills for a rewarding career as a health service professional. The Health Science field will continue to be in great demand as new medical technologies increase demand for skilled health care workers. Students in the Health Science RAMPath will find the support needed to successfully complete a program of study within multiple areas of the Health Science field.
The Public Safety RAMPath is designed to prepare students to enter into a career in the field of corrections, criminal justice, emergency medical services, firefighting, forensics, paramedics, or police. The Public Safety RAMPath offers degree and certificate programs approved by the Chancellor’s Office and recognized by industry through program accreditation. With the combination of lecture and hands-on experiences these highly engaging programs offer students real-life and simulated experiences where they can develop the skills necessary to transfer into a highly specialized career and/ or continue their education at a four-year university. Each program within the Public Safety RAMPath leverages local industry partners to ensure curriculum is aligned to current industry standards while providing students local opportunities for internships and/or work experience.
The Skilled Trades, Industry & Transportation RAMPath is designed to prepare students to enter into a career in the field of automotive maintenance, aviation maintenance, composite aerospace manufacturing, construction, and welding. The Skilled Trades, Industry & Transportation RAMPath offers degree and certificate programs approved by the Chancellor’s Office and recognized by industry through program accreditation. With the combination of lecture and hands-on experiences these highly engaging programs offer students real-life and simulated experiences where they can develop the skills necessary to transfer into a highly specialized career and/ or continue their education at a four-year university. Each program within the Skilled Trades, Industry & Transportation RAMPath leverages local industry partners to ensure curriculum is aligned to current industry standards while providing students local opportunities for internships and/or work experience.
The Business, Office Services and Law RAMPath includes a broad field of disciplines incorporating various types of management, paralegal and administrative careers such as: Office Services, Administrative Assistant, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration and Management. Pursuing a career in this RAMPath prepares students with skills necessary for gainful employment, social and economic mobility. Students in Business, Office Services and Law RAMPath are equipped with 21st leadership and organizational skills.
The Personal and Career Exploration Pathway is designed to provide guidance and additional assistance to all students at Victor Valley College who have not yet identified and declared a major. All four of Victor Valley College’s Schools have a component of embedded Personal and Career Exploration to help students investigate fields of interest and complete career assessments. If you know what you are interested in but are unsure about the careers that align with your interests, please take advantage of the Personal and Career Exploration services offered through your RAMPath.
