Campus Police Department - Community Policing Agency

Campus Safety at Victor Valley College

Campus safety is coordinated by the Victor Valley College Police Department, located on the lower campus in Building 80.

Our department staffing includes:

  • 1 Chief of Police
  • 1 Sergeant
  • 6 Full time POST Certified Police Officers
  • 3 Police Reserve Officers
  • 7 Community Service Officers (CSO)
  • 2 Support Staff

All police officers are graduates of a California POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Academy and receive ongoing training to maintain and enhance their skills. Police, Reserve, and Community Service Officers are trained in first aid and CPR and are authorized to enforce all campus regulations.

The College Police officers and/or Community Service Officers (CSO) patrol 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our officers also work closely with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department to assist with incidents involving campus community members that occur off campus in Adelanto, Apple Valley, Hesperia, and Victorville.

Please contact an officer or the police office any time with any questions or if we may assist you in any way!
