At this time, The Office of Financial Aid is not providing FAFSA and California Dream Act workshops.
If you are in need to general guidance through these applications, our OneStop Information Desk can assist. If your question is about your specific application or situation, please visit our Financial Aid department front counter located in the OneStop - Building 23.
Please keep in mind that per the Department of Education considers students as dependent of their parents until age 24 (even if the student is financially independent from their parents and/or live away from their parents). This would require these students to include their parents as contributors to their financial aid applications. If parents refuse to contribute their information to the student's financial aid application, this alone is not an eligible circumstance for a student's dependency status change. For more information regarding dependency requirements, please see the Federal Student Aid website.
