This course is also required for students desiring to become a Paramedic and / or Firefighter and is a prerequisite for the Basic Fire Academy.
CLASS OVERVIEW
The Emergency Medical Technician course is an intensive 16, 8 or 6-Week course - depending on semester and time of year - that will provide the students training in the recognition of the signs and symptoms of illness and traumatic injuries, as well as perform life-saving skills.
